Microgrid Happy Hour: Tales from Remote Installations

O CTA vai aqui

About the event

Rural microgrid projects are rewarding, challenging, and occasionally absurd. Equipment gets stuck at customs. Generators arrive before the solar panels. Community expectations don't match technical realities. If you've lived through any of this, you'll fit right in at our happy hour for microgrid practitioners.

We're creating space for the kind of honest conversations that happen after conference panels end—the real stories about what goes wrong, how you improvise, and what you wish you'd known before starting. Whether you're working on your first microgrid or your twentieth, come swap experiences over drinks and appetizers. We'll have some loose structure to get conversations flowing, but this is really about connecting with people who understand the unique realities of bringing power to remote communities. War stories welcome and encouraged.

David Thornton
